Batik is adapted from elements of original Indonesian batiks in Thomas O'Brien's collection. A magnified botanical field of floral vines is depicted in a graphic, monochromatic style with a dark chocolate brown line on soft ivory. For this carpet the pile is cut to different heights, to sculpt and highlight the beautiful pattern.
