The Thomson Dining Table by Thomas O'Brien. O'Brien describes this original design as being "like an antique table that I would love to find". Vintage-looking metalwork in an Antique Pewter finish calls attention to the double-tiered x-stretcher metal base. An oval top in elegant quartered and figured walnut is its equal in craftsmanship. The resulting mixed-material design is a novelty, a continental trestle table with a modern floating top. The 72" split top accepts one 24" leaf to extend to 96" table length for larger groupings.
