As a sophisticated half-back upholstered chair, this version combines finely modeled demilune shaping with a simple pole leg construction. The design is based on an original set of circa 1940's Paul Frankl Chairs with the same low-slung disposition and generous widths. Oval-shaped stretchers and a row of fine button tufting across the backrest help to create a softer look.
